A project geologist is needed to plan and supervise an industry leading drilling program. This employer provides excellent employment opportunities as it increases operations and production. The underground hard rock mine in north Queensland is continuously meeting and exceeding production targets.
 
In this role your focus is to supervise the underground programs in order to maximise recovery and grade of resources. Accountabilities also include data collection and entry while assisting in the construction of computer models for drilling programs as required. You will report to the senior mine geologist and manage the drilling contractor to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
 
Entry of drilling physicals and core sampling data is fundamental to success in this role as well as a geological degree with previous underground experience. You will possess good numeracy, literacy and supervisory skills as demonstrated in previous drilling program management.
