An incredible career opportunity has become available as a Projects Superintendent for one of Australia's largest Gold producers. They therefore have superior technical and logistical knowledge in relation to effective resourcing and processing within the gold mining industry. They have an outstanding reputation in relation to their safety, performance and culture within the organisation and are now looking for a Projects Superintendent to join their team. 

Role 
To coordinate a team of project managers, engineers and project supervisors to ensure that the capital project portfolio is delivered safely within scope, on schedule, on budget and satisfying all necessary standards and statutory requirements. 

Responsibilities; 

• Assist in the preparation of the annual Life of Mine capital plan Manage the department operation budget in conjunction with rigorous cost management 
• Ensure all projects are completed within scope, on schedule and on budget 
• Ensure safety practices and procedures are implemented, maintained and followed 
• Provided leadership through coaching, mentoring and developmental activities to members of the Capital Projects team 
• Engage suitably qualified contractors to undertake work 

Skills and experience; 

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) 
• Experience in a mining and minerals environment Safety first attitude 
• Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills 
• Good communication skills 
• MS Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MX Project, MS Outlook)
