We at WYN Recruitment have an amazing one off opportunity for you to join a major global EPCM consultancy that is at the forefront of many Australian projects. You will be undertaking a brand new expansion programme which will involve mine, rail and port placing a brand new demand on infrastructure requirements.
The scope of the project is to install a borefield to supply water to a connection into the existing water Supply Scheme, which will involve a 87km pipeline and associated Transfer Pump Station. An additional 5GL⁄yr demand is anticipated to be sourced via a desalination plant currently under development.
More than five new bore pump stations and associated head works will be installed with the stations being located on elevated earthworks pads, of up to 2.5m in height, to ensure that they are above the predicted maximum flood levels and will connect to the Transfer Pump Station via a 15km high density polyethylene (HDPE) buried collector main.
As the Senior Civil Superintendent you will be reporting directly to the Construction Manager all aspects of the project from start to finish, which will involve you overseeing the delivery of civil fit out works by the contractors.
Your main duties will include but not all:
Monitor the work of contractors and consultants to ensure contract and project objectives are achieved or exceeded.
Determine workforce requirements and coordinate operational plans.
Schedule work to be performed and review work accomplished.
Be able to review, analyse and provide technical expertise.
Monitor the activities of contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules.

To be considered for the positions you must require:
A minimum 5 years recent relevant history in mining and water.
A minimum 8 years experience in civil, mechanical, piping, pumps and materials handling.
A minimum 5 years working as a Superintendent.
A minimum 4 years experience working on EPCM projects.
Excellent Communication skills
Excellent proven track record working on large scale civil projects.
Be able to work in harsh environments.
