Working on one of the largest Iron Ore Mine sites in the world as a Senior Mine Surveyor as either a contract or permanent employee, using your previous extensive experience to manage and conduct mine surveying functions for this huge project in WA!
We have the opportunity to offer this great role as a Senior Mining Surveyor for work on a variety of above ground situations for this large iron ore mining project. Use you previous gridding, surveys and mapping experience - including aerial survey, volume and mine certification, shaft and mine development and control. All associated surveying in the construction of mine infrastructure also including conveyor belts, haul road, seismic and geological exploration.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Mine survey and mapping
Volume and mine certification
Shaft and mine development and control
Surveying for the construction and implementation of mining infrastructure including conveyors, haul road, seismic and geological exploration
Your role as a Senior Mine Surveyor will be to support the project works by providing technical survey and practical surveying competence and expertise to the Mine and Quarry Manager, ensuring the timely delivery and continued success of this huge iron ore project. To be successful in the role you will need a demonstrable history of:
5+ years as Mining Surveyor
Previous experience on a large Iron Ore project
5 yrs + Engineering and Mine Surveying and Mapping experience
Licensed Surveyor
Registered Mine Surveyor
Open pit mining development
