Area Manager required to become part of a senior team on a large Iron Ore Expansion and Development project vital to the growth of this Global EPCM. This senior role is an immediate demand and will require the right candidate to hit the ground running.
Long Term Contract on a multi-billion dollar Project

Senior Role with a globally recognized EPCM
You will be working with a globally recognised EPCM consultancy as it looks to facilitate this rapid expansion on behalf of the Client. This multi-billion dollar project is looking to expand and maximise the existing infrastructure and materials handling equipment of this large Iron Ore expansion. This role will ensure the delivery of the construction phase in accordance to the package's construction schedule and budget. This is a management position with responsibility of a large construction team and will be responsible for the successful delivery of the mine's vast materials handling infrastructure.
Other duties will include (but will not be limited to):
Managing aspects of the construction schedule through related project controls.
Ensuring all quality and environmental standards are met
The recruiting, retaining and subsequent management of a large construction crew.
To serve as one of the primary project management representatives, responsible for all function, cost, schedule and execution of all project deliverables (design, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up).
To plan, outline and manage all schedules and budgets in accordance with the overall project goals (scope, execution plan, schedule, estimate, risk mitigation and management, contract).
Ensuring all quality and environmental standards are met
This senior position will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering this Iron Ore expansion work package through construction, start-up, performance testing, initial operations and prime contract close-out.
Ideally candidates will display the following experience:
Tertiary qualification in a field of engineering (civil, earthworks, mechanical, I&C) is preferred although not essential.
Commercial Management experience.
Project Management qualifications would be highly advantageous
