We are currently seeking an experienced environmental advisor to join in Queensland operations.  For success in this job you will hold tertiary qualifications in Environmental science or similar discipline.  It is preferable that you have experience in underground coal mining operations. 
 
This role reports to the senior environmental supervisor on-site. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the continual improvement of site Environmental Management Systems.  Liaising with environment and site professionals you will have the capacity to advise on all matters environmental.  Inclusive, though not limited to environmental monitoring, data collection, record keeping and ensuring compliance. 
 
Experience in similar level position will enable you a smooth transition into this job and have provided you with a sound understanding of ISO14001 and GIS. You will have an ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulations.
