This growing and diverse mining contractor has grown significantly in the past year due to expansion in their contracts and operations. Your role as the Senior Safety Coordinator will see you work closely with the crew on site to ensure all operations are being conducted as safe as possible. You will be involved in developing and maintaining the safety procedures on site, conduct inductions, coordinate with the client on site and inform the project manager or GM of any issues or incidents and also be responsible for incident and accident investigations. 

You will have experience in a similar type role in the mining industry and have completed the Certificate IV Occupational Health & Safety. Cert IV in TAA or TAE is desirable. Proven understanding of current OHS legislation and training in OHS systems is desirable.
