This progressive company has several operating mines in WA and exploration targets across Australia. They now require an experienced contract geologist to lead an exciting exploration programme.


Working on a flexible roster, as the Project Geologist you will be leading the grassroots exploration programme. With a field assistant, your primary responsibilities are to complete a sampling programme and reconnaissance of a large tenement area. Managing your own daily and weekly tasks, at the end of the contract you will be expected to write a report and submit to senior management.


You will have a tertiary qualification in geology along with 5+ years experience in a field based role. With a focus on OHS and an ability to work independently without supervision, you will enjoy working in small teams and in remote areas.


This is a contract role for an initial 4 – 6 weeks; however this is likely to extend with further exploration projects within the company’s diverse tenement portfolio. A highly competitive day rate will be offered depending on your experience.
