Underground Mine Geologist - Gold

The Company
A national mining owner/operator rapidly developing into one of the top tier gold producers in Australia through advancedexploration projects and acquisition. Currently operating 3 underground sites and 2 open cut sites in multiple states the company is now further developing their professional team due to the approval of a new open cut mine to be operational in the coming months. The new site has a long term expectancy of over 15 years and with several existing tenements on surrounding sites for further development this is an opportunity to build a long term career.

Responsibilities:

• The preparation and presentation of regular reports documenting mine production, grade control, reconciliation and drill results
• Maintaining and improving geology data collection systems
• Assisting with QAQC practices for face sampling and assaying
• Maintaining and improving grade control, stope definition and resource growth
• This role will be reporting directly to the Senior Mine Geologist

The Successful Applicant:

Tertiary Qualified
At least2 years experience in a production based geology role
Focused on maintaining the highest health and safety standards
Experience inGold/Hard rockenvironments will be highly regarded, though not essential

This role:
Is offered on a FIFO or Residential basiswith attractiveRoster options of 8/6 or 12/9 ex Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns. As a member of this team you will receive a base between $110K - $130K, Super, and an Annual Bonus between $10 -$20K. The role will lead to progression within the company either on this site or another location.
