Our client is a diversified mining group with operations in the heart of NSW who are determined in delivering sustainable solutions within a competitive market. This client has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead their geotech team. 
 
You will be responsible for managinig the delivery of Geotechnical mine design, control of standards, ground control performance and optimising hazard management systems.  Using a range of engineering data, design tools, monitoring techniques and contractors you will maintain compliance, inspections and audit practices.  
 
You will be degree qualified in Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering or Geology with previous experience in an underground metalliferous environment with proficient use of mine software – Surpac, Phase 2D and Map 3D.  This is a great opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer looking for a step up opportunity to fast track their career development into management.
