Our client is the one of the world‘s largest producers of coal, with multiple mine sites across Central Queensland together with a number of ongoing growth projects. As a result of their continuing success, they are now seeking a Principle/Senior Resource Geologist to be based in their Brisbane CBD Head offices.


This is a rare opportunity for an experienced professional to move into a Senior Resource Geology role, based in Brisbane,  with one of the worlds leading mining houses.


To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 10 years experience in coal exploration, mine geology and/or resource modelling roles you will have specific experience in coal geology. coal sampling and coal quality, exploration programme management in open-cut and underground minable coal, mining law,  geophysical exploration methods, including wireline geophysical log and seismic interpretation skills, deposit modelling and evaluation skills.
A good general knowledge of open-cut and underground mining geotechnic’s will also be required.
