Profile for Inside Sales / Customer Care:

As an Inside Sales Representative for SolidCAD's Richmond Hill headquarters, the candidate will be responsible to fulfill Transactional CAD Software Sales, Subscription Contract Renewals and Lead Generation activities from a mixture of new and existing clientele.  This opportunity for employment will be awarded to an energetic team player with a professional attitude and superior communication skills.

Characteristics / Experience:

  • Must have 3 years of customer care, value selling or general sales experience related to software or technology, with proven ability to reach or exceed targets.
  • Individual must demonstrate superior communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Ability to develop relationships with IT, Management and Principals.
  • Energetic team player who is comfortable working under pressure and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities, develop new contacts and apply new information quickly.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS office applications related to sales proposals and order entry.
  • Knowledge of the CAD/CAM industry as it related to Manufacturing, Architecture & Engineering is highly beneficial.
  • Applicant must be professional in attitude, courteous and be comfortable handling objections, asking questions and solving customer service issues.

Duties:

  • Respond to customer inquiries, fulfill transactional customer sales and develop leads for the extended sales team
  • Maintain regular customer contact providing value to existing clients and responding to their needs, while providing information related to software licensing, subscription sales and professional services.
  • Solicit into companies where SolidCAD is not actively involved.  Promote SolidCAD's products and services and develop new relationships and business opportunities for the extended sales team.
  • Provide customers and prospects with product information, pricing and company information in a professional, timely manner.
  • Work as a team, together with sales & technical staff to help identify, develop and close business opportunities, as motivated by targets and quotas.
  • Update and maintain information in CRM system, keep accurate forecasts and history of communications, as well as target marketing lists, contacts and all customer information.
