ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEERS
Vancouver, Surrey, Nanaimo, Prince George, BC
We have senior and intermediate level positions for electrical and instrumentation engineers available immediately. Successful candidates will be responsible for the project proposals, work scope and cost estimates, preparation of industrial electrical, control and instrumentation designs and related documents. Other duties include project management, preparation of procurement specifications and test plans, vendor document reviews, construction supervision and participating in the commissioning of systems.
You will be involved in all stages of the projects, from inception to completion with opportunities to lead the project teams. You will also coordinate designs with external consultants and contractors and continually foster and grow strong relationships with our clients.
Key qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Must be registered, or eligible to register, as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in British Columbia; Registrations in other provinces are an asset;
- Minimum 7 years of experience in an industrial design, plant and/or construction environment;
- Proficient in engineering software applications such as database tools, AutoCAD, ETAP;
- Thorough understanding of codes, governing regulations and industry practices;
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written);
- Proven leadership skills and ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment;
- Technical competence and strong attention to detail.
