Business Analyst - Iron Ore Project

This is an exciting opportunity working for an international mining contractor on a full time basis. As an employer of choice, ASX listed and employing over 3000 staff members you will be joining a forward thinking business with plenty of scope for future career development.

As Business Analyst you will provide accounting and analytical support to the Project Manager with a particular focus on project revenue and expenditure. Additional focuses will include the preparation of management reports, divisional P&L, KPI reports and the consolidation of budgets and forecasts. You will analyse project performance, review financial controls and implement systems and reporting improvements where you see necessary.

This will be a site based FIFO role and experience gained in the mining sector will be critical to your success.

• It is likely that you will offer Mine Accounting or Project Accounting experience including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• You will also offer strong communication skills, the ability to trouble shoot issues and liaise with site based personnel.
