This expanding international iron ore company is looking for an ambitious Senior Mining Engineer to join their vibrant team. The company has two projects in WA and an exciting exploration program for the years ahead.  Their vision is to become a leading exporter of iron ore to world markets, whilst contributing to the communities in which they operate.

This position presents a leadership opportunity for a career minded team player. Throughout this role your main responsibilities will include the delivery of rolling operational mine plans, reports and presentations on a monthly basis.

You will also ensure that production levels, grade/quality targets and long term strategic plans are achieved while also assisting with the modification of pit designs and the planning of dumps and associated mine infrastructure.

You will be capable of developing the systems and tools to improve current planning methods and overseeing the budgeting and forecasting process. 

You will possess a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering and the desire to excel at a senior level. Your well-honed communication, organisational and technical skills will help you to success in this role. You will have solid experience in an open pit mining environment and possess an Unrestricted Quarry Manager’s Certificate, or be close to attaining one.
