This dynamic company is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join their unique flagship Australian mine. They are an exciting minerals producer with an established presence within Western Australia.  They have a strong focus on exploration, development and production with a number of expansion projects underway and coming to fruition.  Their vision is to become one of the state’s biggest exporters of high grade minerals into world markets.

You will report to the Technical Services Superintendent and provide your own technical input and expertise to this successful operation.

Your duties will include Mine Planning, Scheduling and Design. You will see that production targets are met and constantly seek areas for improvement of methods and processes. You will support your team and help build a positive and safe working environment. 

To excel in this role:

•  you will possess a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering and proven experience in an open pit mining environment, as well as strong knowledge of Mine Scheduling. 
• You will possess an Unrestricted Quarry Manager’s Certificate or be close to acquiring it and ready to take the final steps.
