The mining sector is clearly booming with both the mining companies and their suppliers enjoying full order books for the next few years – as such the smart companies are gearing up now to deliver mission-critical products and services to enable further development and delivery.
The company is a confirmed leader in their chosen market and have been for many years now – due to significant and positive developments within their business, they are in serious growth mode in order to complement their existing team with two new Communications Technician roles.
Key capabilities lie within Radio technologies (UHF, 2-way, Motorola etc), GPS location tracking, wide area, repeaters and other related solutions designed to ensure efficiency and safety in all Australian mines. The successful candidates will ideally have existing experience working in or around the mining sector, although those with Defence, marine or similar will be well regarded. Additionally applicants who have an apprenticeship background are looked upon favourably.
The role will involve a healthy and varied mix of workshop/bench repairs and field installations as well resolve customer issues onsite – this will require some travel therefore a current driving license is essential.
