Exploration Geologist

This  critical  position  is  responsible  for  field  planning  and  implementation  and  of  exploration programs required to prepare a number of gold prospects for handover to the Development group.  
Our company’s excellent  ground position  in  the  Laverton  gold district means  the  Exploration  team has 
the opportunity to work on multiple targets at all stages of development.   
 
Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist, your duties will include: 

• The execution of exploration plans 
• Design and implementation of drilling programs 
• Supervision of geophysical and geochemical surveys 
• Generate quality targets and design appropriate exploration programs 
• Involvement in all aspects of exploration in Laverton 
• Supervise quality control and accuracy of data collection and collation 
• Production of technical Company and statutory reports  
• Data evaluation 

Requirements: 
To be considered for this position, you will need a tertiary degree in Geology and a minimum of four 
years experience working as an Exploration Geologist, with a significant component in the Australian 
mining  industry.  A  knowledge of  geological  controls on Archaean orogenic  gold deposits  and  the 
effect of the regolith overprint is essential.  A class C Western Australian drivers licence is required. 
 
The  preferred  candidate  will  have  significant  field  experience,  first  aid  certification  and  4WD 
experience. 
 
The  role  is  Perth  based  with  campaign  work  in  the  Laverton  area.   We  offer  a  competitive
