Master Data Officer

Reporting to the Project Specialist, the Data Management officer will assist with the Data Management process in conjunction with the Vendor and Material Cataloguer. You will ensure that the database accurately reflects active Vendors, and Master data, maintain governance and ensure the integrity of master data in SAP.

This position will also provide relief support within the Procurement Department and provide relief support to the Master Management Officer's by assisting in the management and control of the Master Data held in SAP.

Accountabilities will include:
  • Accurately process all New Vendor Request Forms
  • Continual review and cleanse of the Vendor Database
  • Manage Vendor pre-qualification and ensure that the vendor has supplied all relevant information pertaining to the contract
  • Validate the vendor is a legitimate business with a valid ABN no prior to activating the vendor.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of Material Master Data
  • Verify all information provided is on conjunction with FMG's Cataloguing Processes
To be successful in this role you will possess:
  • Strong computer skills in SAP and Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills
  • High attention to detail with office administration experience
  • Demonstrated experience in purchasing/inventory,materials management and data management will be highly regarded
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • WA Driver's Licence
