Our Client is a multidisciplinary professional services firm that delivers a comprehensive array of technical and strategic engineering services, including Consulting, Information Technology, Engineering, Process Development, and Project and Construction Management to the Mining, Metallurgical, Energy, and Infrastructure sectors.

As the Reliability Engineer your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Apply Reliability Engineering principles, tools and techniques to identify and prioritise opportunities related to equipment and process failure.
• Facilitate understanding at crew and individual level of defect elimination, failure modes, effects and causes.
• Define equipment performance requirements and contribute to process and equipment variance minimisation.
• Audit and monitor maintenance activities and critical equipment performance.
• Ability to communicate business principles such as (availability, MTBF, MTTR, Downtime, OEE, Root Causes, etc).
• Facilitate cross department efforts to address equipment downtime and reliability issues.
• Measurement of performance - % problems solved to root cause resulting in a reduction in unplanned downtime, reduced maintenance costs, improved equipment availability and total throughput. 
• Ensure the application of reliability principles to new equipment installations at the conceptual and design stages to maximise plant reliability.
• Develop appropriate procedures or practices for equipment that will positively impact reliability.
• Properly set up maintenance plans that appropriately and economically optimise the life of the equipment.
• Support Senior Asset Management Consultant on Operational Support Groups..
• Act as a relief Senior Asset Management Consultant as required
