Project manager

This is a great opportunity for you to work directly with one of the worlds premier mining companies. They are currently working on several multi billion dollar mining projects in WA and are looking to enhance and develop their currently operating mines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure projects are evaluated, assessed and accurately established within the overall budget.
  • Engage project teams by providing high level leadership and management support, ensuring individuals are developed and supported to achieve their full potential.
  • Submit project plans which demonstrate risk mitigation and project deliverables.
  • Provide specialist knowledge to resolve project related challenges.
  • Provide reports, analysis, forecasts, recommendations and presentations in support of project implementation, progress and strategic direction to key stakeholders and Executive decision-makers.
  • Maintains close liaison with other disciplines at operations and corporate level to ensure that decisions are taken from the broadest perspective and that these decisions and actions are appropriately integrated.
The following experience/skills are required for this position

The successful candidate is required to have:
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Engineering or related discipline
  • Extensive experience within a Project Management role
  • The successful candidate will preferablly have a Mechanical background and be familiar with conveyor design, beneficiation plants and construction within the Mining Industry.
  • Previous experience working on EPCM projects is desirable
