As a result, we are in currently searching for an experienced Construction Superintendent to be a part of the mining owner's team for a large greenfield underground coal project in Queensland. This is a key role and we require extensive experience supervising the construction of an access drift and then development mining and longwall installation and commissioning. You will also be responsible for ensuring the EPCM team adheres to project deliverables and the monitoring of project plans, schedules and budgets etc.
To be considered for this role, you will have the following:-
• Engineering or trade qualifications and relevant industry and project experience.
• Previous supervisory role in underground coal development or production.
• Experience managing mining contractors on large $ projects.
• Stable employment background with long term tenure.
• Experience running projects in Australia.
