Be a part of a unique opportunity to work as a Geotechnical Engineer for one of Australia's highly established Gold Mining operations. Well known for its quality work environment and structured career development program this role will provide you with complete autonomy and zero bureaucracy. 

As a Geotechnical Engineer you will be responsible for ground control and accumulation of Geotechnical data, examine the performance of the excavations of support structure, mine investigations, rock interpretations, investing and designing against mine wall failure and rock bursting etc.

To be successful in this role you will need: 
  • Practical experience working in an underground mining environment 
  • Degree in Mining Engineering or Geology 
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position 
  • Design and Underground mining experience 
  • Experience working with various underground mining techniques 
  • Ability to drive a small Geotechnical team 
  • Exposure to Geotechnical Software packages
