Junior Exploration Geologist

JUNIOR EXPLORATION GEOLOGIST

If exploration geology is your passion then this role could be for you. 
 
Due to continued success, this owner operator in North Queensland is seeking an exploration geologist with circa 24 months experience to join their growing exploration team. This is fantastic opportunity to develop your experience within a diverse and expanding company. 
 
This will be a DIDO/FIFO arrangement and as such will be of particular interest to applicants within the Townsville/East Coast region.
 
Duties will include: 
  • Core and chip logging, geophysical interpretation
  • Geotechnical logging and coal quality sampling of drill core
  • Data acquisition, manipulation and management
  • Ensuring the quality of data collected
  • Liaising with team members, you will be heavily involved in contributing to the field based aspects of the company’s strategic plan
