Foreman Mining: Loading and Hauling

Introduction

• The role involves the controlling, monitoring and coordinating of production processes and progress to ensure set production targets

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / N3 Certificate
• Valid drivers licence
• 3 Years production experience and relevant qualification
• Must be willing to work shifts
• Will be required to pass a medical fitness certificate to be considered for this position

Job Specification

• The role involves the controlling, monitoring and coordinating of production processes and progress to ensure set production targets
• Providing of advice and guidance to interested parties related to area of expertise in terms of processes, standards, best practices, research etc
• Must adhere to all safety and health standards and promote good housekeeping on an ongoing basis
• Good knowledge of mining processes, dispatch system and company rules and procedures
• Must have the ability to build relationships, transfer knowledge, function independently, have a holistic approach and be well acquainted with the mining area
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
