Customer Service Representative

Job Description

  • This position’s responsibilities include processing incoming customer orders for concrete products.  Candidate will be expected to maintain a good working relationship with customers and assists them by providing accurate product price and use information.  Must be able to work and demonstrate the ability to work closely with the Central Dispatch position on a daily basis.

Required Skills

  • Be able to read and understand written or diagrammatic instructions, including road instructions, manuals, rules, regulations, etc.
  • Be able to multi task efficiently
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints
  • Monitor driver hours as required
  • Monitor order status as required
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT rules and requirements.
  • Follows all safety and environmental procedures.
  • Understand the company products, prices and uses.
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have general knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Power Point & Excel).
  • Be willing to work a rotating schedule with varying shifts and must be punctual in adhering to established start times.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
  • May be required to act as a dispatcher
