Environmental Project Manager
- We are seeking a self-motivated, multi-faceted Environmental Project Manager to join our team in Rockville, MD and become an integral part of our continued success story. Apex is looking for a mid-level environmental seller/doer with an entrepreneurial edge to manage environmental remediation projects, supervise field staff, and develop business.
- Position requirements include 7-10 years of experience performing and managing the technical, financial, and logistical aspects of various environmental remediation projects and 5 years of experience selling environmental consulting services. Other requirements include a BA/BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or other related field. Related state professional certifications (PE, PG, etc.) are preferred, but not required. Additionally, safety awareness and a good record and understanding of safe work practices are essential.
Duties
- This position entails the technical oversight and execution of environmental remediation projects. Leveraging existing client relationships and building new client relationships to develop projects in the region is one of the primary responsibilities of this position. Other responsibilities include managing and mentoring field staff and ensuring the safe execution of all phases of project work to meet our clients’ objectives as well as company goals for revenue generation and profitability.
