Job Description

Position Specification
Summary:

• The Marketing Communication Specialist will assist in the research, planning, designing and implementation of marketing initiatives, and reports to Manager, Tubular Marketing and Product Branding.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and execution of tradeshows, events and company meetings.
• Maintain and manage inventory of collateral as well as logistics of shipping materials for tradeshows and meetings.
• Establish contacts; develop implementation schedules and assignments to support the success of tradeshows.
• Assist in development and implementation of effective pre-tradeshow marketing campaigns to include print and/or email campaigns.
• Develop and maintain accurate, current databases of industry contacts for marketing campaigns.
• Perform a range of administrative and marketing support duties related to the daily operations of the marketing department.
• Assist with the development and implementation of key marketing initiatives.
• Prepare and assist in the development of marketing materials and presentations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in marketing, communications, public relations or related field.

Education:

• College degree, marketing or communications a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in marketing, communications, public relations or related field.
• Proficient Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities in response to highest need.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to marketing.
• Familiarity with the oil & gas industry a plus.
• Must present portfolio/examples of marketing projects and work you created.
