One of Australia's leading coal mining contractors has a vacancy available immediately in New South Wales for a dedicated and experienced Mine Surveyor.  You are a GUN in your field with a high level of drive and self direction who can work autonomously, yet thrives in a positive team environment.


As the Mine Surveyor you will utilise your knowledge, skills and past experiences to provide valuable support across the planning and production departments. You must be able to provide prompt and effective reports which will maximise the efficiency of the operation. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will deliver and on all surveying functions.  As well as qualifications in surveying and mining experience, the following is desirable:
  • Registered Mine Surveyor or the possibility to gain registration
  • Knowledge of Vulcan, AutoCAD or relevant software packages
  • Use of GPS and/or other related surveying tools
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, plus a high level of people skills
