Excellent opportunities in the NSW Coalfields (only 2 hours away from Sydney) are now available for exceptional candidates ready to leave a remote community or FIFO roster. This Open Pit Coal Miner is pioneering the growth and development of their operation therefore seeking an exceptional Mine Planning Engineer to join their technical services team.


With an overall focus on short and medium term planning and scheduling, your main responsibilities will be to:
Develop short to medium term mine plans that follow budgetary requirements 
Coordinate with the mine production team to contribute your technical knowledge towards current projects
Manage monthly budgets to ensure accurate delivery of these projects


Ideally, you will be a tertiary qualified Mine Engineer with strong operational and production experience in open cut coal mining. You will also: 

• Have a demonstrated knowledge of Vulcan, Xpac and Microsoft Software
• Ability to produce accurate reports, highlighted through your strong communication skills
• Unquestionable commitment to safety
