ABAP Developer

Responsibilities

• The ASAP Developer's primary responsibility  is writing new or modifying existing ASAP reports, user exits, BADI's, and dialog programs. The ASAP Developer  will also define and develop programs and interfaces using BAPI, IDOC, BDC, Web Dynpro, Web Template Designer,  BSPs (Business Server Pages}, Application Enhancement Tool, Smart Forms I SAP Script, Workflow, and Web Services.
• The ASAP Developer will also be responsible for troubleshooting, performance tuning, and writing technical specifications. The SAP ASAP Developer will report to the Applications Services Management (ASM} SAP Technical Support Supervisor in the Information Management Department.

Position Requirements

• Advanced experience in SOL (Business Object Layer} Programming, including  BSPs (Business Server Pages}, Application Enhancement Tool, Web Services, Web Template Designer, WordML (XML}, and Middleware
• Strong understanding of GWI (Group ware Integration}
• Work closely with functional analysts to design the best technical solution to complex business problems
• Participate and/or lead in the analysis, design, development,  testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of SAP solutions for the business
• Drive solution reuse, reliability, performance, and scalability through deep knowledge of software design and of SAP
• Work with the SAP technical team to recognize and implement new SAP technology.
• ECC 6.0 experience
• Ability to communicate effectively,  both orally and in writing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Information  Technology  discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum five (2) years of hands-on experience  as an ASAP Developer Experience in SAP version 6.0 or higher
• Demonstrated knowledge  of good programming techniques and use of all development tools
• Working knowledge of change control and release management  processes
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong debugger skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
