Co are recruiting a Mining Engineer in partnership with a privately owned organization who specialize in mining and civil services. With an excess of 50 years in the industry they are well established and looking to continue both the growth of their team and ability to deliver on a large range of projects across Queensland.

There is currently an opportunity, based in the Bowen Basin, for a Mining Engineer with proven experience to join this team and prosper from their extensive network and performance.  In addition to the professional development opportunity on offer, this role offers a combination of lifestyle roster and market leading remuneration.

This position is a permanent role and operates on Monday to Friday roster and is focused on mine planning, design and scheduling of activities (long, medium & short), reporting to the Project Manager. 


To be considered for this role you will be required to have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
• Experience in Coal mining operations preferred
• Experience with mine software packages
• Proven effective communication & interpersonal skills within a multi-disciplinary operational team
• Cost awareness and the ability to be outcome focused
• Provide leadership within the team
• A strong commitment to safety and proven history
