About the Role: We are seeking a Civil Engineer to execute civil engineering designs on railway related projects, specifically earthworks and drainage. Responsibilities will include:
Prepares preliminary and detailed designs, specifications and documentation for all civil engineering project work and ensures project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works.
Ensures all civil engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices.
Ensures all civil engineering project work is completed on time and within budget.
Prepares documentation for standards, procedures, safe working practices and monitors regimes in respect of work on or around civil engineering projects.
Liaises with other department engineers and draftspersons to ensure project goals are met.
Assists with the preparation of civil engineering budget.
Develops and trains Graduate Civil Engineers.

Further to this we also require the following:
Design skills required to design railway and road earthworks, drainage and drainage structures.
Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering
3-5 years experience in a design office designing civil works for large engineering, rail and infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated commercial acumen in the engineering and construction environment.
