Floorhand

Co is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Floorhands to join our award 
winning team. As Australia's leading integrated energy and mineral services company we operate 
continuous contracts with some of Australia's largest companies. 

Duties of this position is to perform general rig related tasks on the rig floor, and participate in set-up 
and dismantle of the rig as directed by the Driller. This position requires previous experience as a 
roustabout or leasehand in the oil & gas industry.

Required skills, experience and knowledge: 
• Certificate II in Drilling (Onshore Oil and Gas) or the willingness to undertake this program as 
part of ongoing skills development processes 
• Experience in working as a Leasehand 
• Mechanical ability and experience in operating plant and equipment 
• Interest in working outdoors in remote locations 
• Good physical condition, strength and emotional stamina 
• Ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations and measurements  
• Ability to work well under supervision 
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills 
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and work cohesively with other rig crew 
members 
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, to work within guidelines and procedures, 
identify problems, and seek advice to resolve issues relating to tasks
