Co is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Derrickhand to join our award 
winning team. As Australia's leading integrated energy and mineral services company we operate 
continuous contracts with some of Australia's largest companies. 

Reporting to the Driller, the position will be responsible for effectively assisting crew members with
daily operations of a land based rig.

Required skills, experience and knowledge: 
• Accredited industry qualifications (Onshore Oil and Gas) or the willingness to undertake 
industry certifications as part of ongoing skills development processes  
• Strong mechanical ability with proven experience in operating plant and equipment on a 
workover or drilling rig 
• Interest in working outdoors in remote locations  
• Good physical condition, strength, and emotional stamina  
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and formulas, lifting criteria and apply concepts 
such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations of the work 
environment  
• Ability to work well autonomously  
• Well developed communication and interpersonal skills 
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and work cohesively with other rig crew 
members 
• Ability to read, analyse, and interpret equipment manuals, instructions, and procedures 
related to the rig and its mechanical operations  
• Developed understanding and knowledge of quality assurance, HSE, equal employment 
opportunity, and anti-discrimination practices as applied to the workplace 
• Current C class drivers licence
