Warehouse Manager

  • Manage all yard operations
  • Ensure accurate receiving of inventory / stock
  • Ensure safe handling of materials
  • Load and unload trucks safely, efficiently and accurately
  • Review all receiving paperwork
  • Perform general maintenance of warehouse
  • Hire and train of new warehouse staff
  • Ensure customers are treated in a professional and timely manner
  • Responsible for implementing and supervising cycle counts
  • Enter hours for all fork lifts in the RTA system
  • Ensure accuracy of all paperwork
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to operate lifts
  • Knowledge of products and materials
  • Leadership qualities
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, vendors and customers (verbal and written)
  • Ability to prioritize many tasks
  • Ability to keep inventory counts
  • Must be able to lift 75+ lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
  • Must be able to handle all types of building products

Preferences

  • Previous experience working with building materials helpful
