Maintenance Planner

To Plan and schedule, issue for execution and record all planned maintenance on all equipment for all sites and facilities within Easternwell Minerals Business Unit.

Co is currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to work in our Forrestfield office.  Reporting 
to the Maintenance Manger, you will be responsible  to for the planning, scheduling and recording of all 
planned maintenance on all equipment for all sites and facilities within Easternwell Minerals Business Unit. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Support the Manager and customers through the provision of a high standard of planning and 
scheduling support 
• Provide accurate and timely information to support decision making at management levels 
• Consult with the operations and field maintenance teams to determine upcoming priorities and 
constraints and adjust schedule accordingly  
• Liaise with technical support (internal and external) to resolve critical planning issues  
• Accountable for accurate database records of all maintenance documentation, OEM documents, 
Drawings, certificates, inspections, purchase orders and status reports through delegating work as 
required to Maintenance Administrator 
• Drive and assist with the development of all preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance 
with company, OEM, clients and statutory requirements 
• Collaboratively share knowledge and provide timely advice regarding maintenance tasks 
• Develop and issue Work Orders for repair, inspections, preventative maintenance and corrective 
maintenance  
• Plan materials and parts required to be sourced through procurement process 
• Build maintenance schedules for newly acquired or upgraded plant 
Key Knowledge, Skills and Attributes: 
• Mechanical Trade, Territory background with qualification, or equivalent skills and experience in 
maintenance planning 
• Experience working in teams in a safe and environmentally responsible context  
• Experience with information management / asset management and the use of reporting systems 
• Ability to complete tasks and projects to scope and the satisfaction of customers or management  
• Ability to read, analyse and interpret equipment manuals, instructions and procedures related to its 
mechanical operation and maintenance  
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a high workload with multiple tasks • Working understanding of maintenance management principals including the ability to plan, schedule and
report on the status of work 
• Experience using computerised Maintenance Management Software system, with MEX experience highly 
desirable 
• Experience using project software highly desirable 
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and document traceability 
• Good Verbal and written communication skills 
• Strong organisational and planning abilities

high attention to detail, good organisational ability, time management skills and the ability to work  under 
pressure and to meet deadlines.
