About the Company:

About the Role:
We are seeking a Civil Supervisor to be predominantly site based to coordinate the site investigation works. Responsibilities will include: 
  • Support and advise all associated Field Teams during their site survey and investigation activities 
  • Ensure that all personnel involved in the site investigation activities are familiar with the OS&H requirements of the project's HSEC management plan and the procedures that address travel and working in remote and isolated locations and you will monitor the team to determine compliance to these requirements 
  • Daily prestart meetings with field teams to understand the work planned for the day including the location/s and areas to be traversed 
  • Fit for work assessments of the field team 
  • Daily liaison with the Mine Site Management, Station Managers/owners and landholders to advise them of the field teams plans for the day 
  • Liaise with the local Heritage group on services needed

Requirements:
We are seeking results orientated team players with excellent communication and negotiating skills. You will have good time management skills and attention to detail and be able to prioritise work. 

Further to this we also require the following: 
  • At least ten years specific experience in Civil Field Works
  • At least five years previous experience in a supervisory role, in remote areas
  • Construction and / or mining experience preferred
  • Sound knowledge of the principles and practical application of statutory Health, Safety & Environment requirements
  • Sound knowledge of land access
