Controls Systems Field Engineer

We are currently seeking a Controls Systems Field Engineer to join the Port Hedland based team working on a major EPCM Port Expansion project.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the development of control system designs and specifications
• Developing user and systems manuals to industry standards
• The preparation of test plans for functional hardware/software testing
• Configuration, implementation and commissioning of various systems
• Liaising with other engineering departments (electrical, instrumentation and process)
• Liaising with clients representatives

Job Requirements 
The successful applicants must be degree qualified, have field exposure and a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the relevant discipline and in the mining and metals industry. You will have previous experience working on a multi-disciplinary project and within a team environment. It is essential that you have highly developed problem solving and analytical skills, a strong attention to detail and exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
