Having enjoyed significant growth in recent years one of the Mackay region s leading Fabrication and Maintenance Service organisations is looking to appoint a Senior Executive for their Engineering and Fabrication business. THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the CEO you will take ownership of the business unit with the primary focus being to provide leadership to a growing workforce whilst ensuring maximum profitability.
The role will require you to orchestrate profitable growth based on the fundamental principles of effective cost control, proactive balance sheet management with a clear and defined operating strategy designed for growth and maximum profitability.
Your strong Bowen Basin network in the Mining and Infrastructure sectors will assist you in driving customer acquisition strategies and business development.
You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact to the business whilst achieving a positive lifestyle change. It is essential that you have demonstrated a consistent, visible, and proactive leadership style whilst ensuring a commitment towards achieving Zero Harm in Occupational Health and Safety.
The expectations are to implement strategies to drive business growth, review and improve existing systems and procedures, maintain the emphasis on quality and cost effectiveness as well as mentor a talented team of technical, trade and support staff.
HAVE YOU
It is
ESSENTIAL that you have a strong business development/sales background for customer acquisition.
An evolved understanding of fabrication processes.
Previous experience at managing strategic profitable growth with a Mining industry service provider.
Extensive experience at client and account management.
The ability to lead and participate actively in the corporate strategy formulation and implementation of achievable business growth.
A desire to take up a challenging and rewarding senior management opportunity with a regional mining services provider with an enviable reputation.

Base Salary $180,000 Plus
