Design Group has partnered with a leading multi-disciplinary consulting firm that provides engineering and environmental services in the mining, power, environmental, transportation, geotechnical, oil & gas and water resources sectors. We are currently looking for professionals who have experience working in project teams, managing projects, mentoring and training junior staff

We have immediate openings for qualified Senior Geotechnical Engineers to work on a wide range of projects. Qualifications:

• 7+ years related experience in some or all of the following: site exploration, foundation engineering, geotechnical design, tailings dam design, mine pit slope design and embankment dams.
• Bachelors degree in related Civil/Geotechnical fields, Masters is an asset.
• Project management skills would be an asset.
• Demonstrated technical leadership abilities/experience with a commitment to technical excellence.
• Experience working with and managing clients.
• Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist in Canada .
• Excellent communication skills "In English" both verbal and written.
• Good team skills.
• Report writing skills and solid contract administration and project management skills.
• Availability to travel within Canada and Internationally.
