Lead Structural Engineer

Role Summary:

Our Client is a leading global company providing consulting, design, and construction services in earth, environment, and related areas of energy. They are looking to add a Lead Structural Engineer to join their Engineering Design team of professionals. To provide Consulting, Detailed Engineering and EPCM services mainly to the mining & minerals processing industry in the Mississauga, Ontario location. Some of the responsibilities and duties will be to work with Jr. to Sr. Engineers and Designers, to grow the group and develop the practice for mining projects.

Generic Duties And Responsibilities:

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering for heavy industrial applications and associated site works with a consulting engineering firm
• A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role preferably in an EPC or EPCM environment;
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for effective delivery of design projects
• Construction experience in a North American market

Skills Set & Qualifications:

• Familiar with modern computer aided engineering and structural analysis tools;
• Working knowledge of CAD 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, etc.;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer usage;
• Flexibility to travel locally and internationally; and,
• Valid drivers license and passport.

Education

• Bachelors or advanced degree in Structural / Civil Engineering;
• Accreditation:
• licensed with Professional Engineers of Ontario or other provincial/territorial professional engineering association in Canada;

Salary Rate : $120 - 125 k/per annum
