An exciting job opportunity exists within one of Queensland’s major coal mines in the Bowen Basin Region with one of Australia’s leading mining companies for a Maintenance Planner.  This is a residential opportunity offering an attractive salary package, residence in a modern style community and a work life balance working a lifestyle roster.


With relevant experience in maintenance planning you will be responsible for the development and implementation of maintenance plans to ensure optimal plant safety, maintainability and reliability of equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent a key accountability of this role is preparation and continual maintaining of the equipment register and long term component plans. Previous experience with dozers, diggers and drills, trucks, draglines and ancillary equipment in a planning capacity as well as experience with CMMS systems such as SAP and Ellipse are key requirements of this role.  


Appropriate Trade Qualifications in a mechanical/electrical trade, experience with mobile equipment and other ancillary equipments are key requirements of this role. Your effective communication and organisation skills will be crucial in handling multiple functions simultaneously.
