Principal Resource Geologist

Description:

Our client is an international and leading mining consulting engineering firm, focusing solely on the minerals sector. They are looking at expanding their Vancouver team, by adding a Principal Resource Geologist.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage geological projects in open pit and/or underground operations, including drill program planning and data capture
  • Ensure QA/QC best practices for projects
  • Perform statistical and geo-statistical analysis
  • Geological interpretation and resource estimation

Requirements:

  • A degree in Geology and 15 years experience relevant to the responsibilities listed above
  • Registration as a P. Geo in British Columbia or be eligible to apply for Registration
  • High level user of geological software
  • Strong technical, leadership and problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication and report writing skills
