Senior Mining Engineer Open Pit

Position Summary

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Long and short term mine planning
• Productivity analysis
• Mine design
• Quality control
• Economic evaluation
• Prepare reports
• Budgeting
• Environment
• Surveying
• Engineering studies
• Computer applications

Supervision:

• This position reports directly to the Manager, Engineering

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mine Engineering
• Registered with APEGGA
• 5+ years mine engineering experience
• A thorough knowledge of mine planning systems is essential
• Strong computer, organizational and interpersonal skills, exceptional reporting and presentation skills
