An exciting job opportunity exists with one of Queensland’s major Mining Contractors for an Mechanical Supervisor in the Bowen Basin Region.  Based out of Mackay working on site via Moranbah this role offers an attractive salary, excellent benefits and a 4:3 working roster.


With relevant experience in mechanical supervision and maintenance you will assist in the supervision and management of electrical crews to ensure plant availability, reliability and achievement of set site objectives.  As a successful applicant you will mentor and assist in the training and management of electrical crews, as well as conducting regular equipment inspections for any defects or hazards. 


Appropriate Trade Qualifications in an electrical trade, current QLD electrical workers license, S1 S2 S3 and G2 qualifications and Switchboard Rescue are a requirement of this role.  Elevated Work Platform, Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets would be seen as advantageous for this role.  Your effective communication and organisations skills will assist you in leading and mentoring electrical teams.
