Senior 3D Mechanical Designer

Our company is seeking experienced Senior 3D Mechanical Designers interested in working with a large resource company. This is a contract position is located in the Perth CBD.

The Senior 3D Mechanical Designer will provide an experienced level of technical support in relation to mechanical design drafting services for engineering projects.

It is essential that you have:
  • A Designer/Drafting qualification;
  • At least 5 years experience in design for engineering projects within the mining or resources industry;
  • Previous experience in a Senior role;
  • CAD certification or skills;
  • SmartPlant 3D/HME experience; and
  • Experience on an EPCM.
Required Competencies / Skills
  • Ability to adhere to corporate/project drawing office standards
  • Ability to arrange/prepare drawings based on engineering design inputs
  • Knowledge of drafting requirements for multiple disciplines
  • Understanding EPCM culture and goals
  • Ability to achieve targets and assigned outcomes
  • Ideally proven knowledge of capabilities of the various 3D CAD systems

  • Currently reside, and be authorised to work in Australia (eg. Work Visa if required).
