Our client, a worldwide leading consultancy, is experiencing extraordinary business levels as a result of their long-term strategic planning coming to fruition. Whether your background is in materials handling, minerals processing or a related heavy industrial background and you are a Mechanical Designer looking for projects that will look great on your CV then look no further. This position is offered as a long-term Contract (open to extension); with industry leading rates and to top it off you’ll be given the chance to show off your capabilities and move into a higher role!

With the firm set to commence their new projects, this is an unprecedented career opportunity in the Brisbane market. We are seeking applications from Mechanical Designers that can demonstrate strong skills using AutoCAD & Microstation. Upon joining the firm you will benefit from flexible hours and conditions and you will be paid an hourly rate (weekly), and due to the amount of work available your contract will possibly be extended.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
  • Eligible to work in Australia 5+ years experience in Mechanical design drafting 
  • Strong experience with in the Materials Handling discipline in minerals processing and/or coal industry sectors Design experience of conveying systems, bulk materials handling, crushers, processing equipment, piping and rotating machinery 
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD, Microstation, and MS Office Suite Diploma of Mechanical Engineering is preferred
