Our client has an opportunity for a Lead Electrical Designer to lead an expanding team of professionals. Whether your background is materials handling, minerals processing, or in the heavy industrial industry, and you are a Lead Electrical Designer who believes you have a lot to offer than look no further. This position is offered as a long-term Contract; with industry leading rates, it is an ideal role for a person who is looking to secure a long-term role that has a chance of extension
As the Lead Designer, you will be responsible for preparing detailed reports, and leading the team to ensuring checking procedures are in place to prevent errors in designs and guarantee designs are effectively met on the project along with prepare technical documentation. Furthermore you will demonstrate an ability to apply technical knowledge and resolve problems. Upon joining the firm you will benefit from flexible Hours and conditions that will suit your needs, coupled with a family first mandate.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Eligible to work in Australia Must have experience in an electrical design capacity within the mining industry
- Possess a high level of computer literacy and experience with MicroStation
- Must be highly experienced and able and show the ability to mentor and guide less experienced designers Relevant qualifications in Design / Drafting
