Electrical Engineer | Underground Coal - Residential w/ housing

An international mining giant has an opportunity at one of their underground coal mines in QLD for an Electrical Engineer. The company operates multiple coal mines and has significant interests in other commodities with projects across the globe. 

This is a residential role and you will be provided with heavily subsidised housing. You will enjoy being a couple hours from the coast and close to large coastal cities. 

Forming an integral part of the Engineering team onsite you will be responsible for providing electrical engineering services to the operation to assist with production and safety targets being achieved. This diverse role will see you:
Working with the maintenance department to develop maintenance overhaul scopes
Involved with the electrical aspects of commissioning of equipment
Developing & implementing reliability initiatives

To be considered for this role you will need the following skills, experience & qualifications:

• Relevant Electrical Engineering qualifications
• Previous experience in underground coal mining
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively
• Strong communication skills
• A high level of drive & motivation

Salary/Rate:  $150,000 - $175,000
